The Catholic Bible Institute of Southern Arizona (CBISA) is a three-year program that offers individuals a comprehensive study of Sacred Scripture as enrichment or for certification in leading bible studies.
Sessions address the methods of praying with, studying, and sharing Scripture, and the application of skills for leading bible studies.

The Common Formation Program (CFP) is a four-year program that prepares candidates for Lay Ecclesial Ministry (LEM) Certification or for Ordination to the Permanent Diaconate.
Sessions address four areas of formation: Human, Spiritual, Intellectual, and Pastoral.

Ministry Certification has three distinct levels and is intended to form Catholics in the following areas: Catechetical Methods and Human Development, the Creed, Sacraments and Liturgy, Scripture, and Spirituality.
All those who teach our faith, especially Catholic school teachers and catechists, should enter into a journey of ongoing faith formation resulting in at least Level 1 Certification.

The Diocese of Tucson Sacramental Guidelines includes instruction on the Sacrament of Baptism for Children, Celebration of Baptism, Reception of First Penance, Reception of First Holy Communion, Sacrament of Confirmation, Celebration of Confirmation for Adults, Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, Sacrament of Marriage, Home Schooling Policy for Sacramental Preparation, and Funeral Mass Outside of the Parish Church.
