Our Mission
The mission of the Department of Catholic Schools is to support the growth of the whole person in which faith, academic excellence, and service are integral to the life of every student served in the Diocese of Tucson.
About Us
There are 23 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Tucson: 17 elementary schools, one Pre-K through 12 schools, four high schools, and one early childhood center. The 23 schools are located in Tucson, Yuma, Sierra Vista, Nogales, Douglas, Casa Grande, and San Carlos.
All of our schools are accredited through Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA). We are supported by the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA).
Our principals, faculty, and school staff look forward to meeting with you, answering your questions, and giving you a tour of their school.
We invite you to contact one of our 23 schools and discover the difference a Catholic education can make in the life of your child(ren) – both here and for eternity!

For generations, the Diocese of Tucson Catholic schools have served families from diverse backgrounds.
We are committed to making Catholic education available, accessible, and affordable to those who want to make that investment for their children.
In Arizona, we are blessed to have two sources of financial aid for eligible students: School Tuition Organizations (STO) and Empowerment Scholarship Accounts (ESA).
The Catholic Tuition Support Organization (CTSO) of the Diocese of Tucson has provided students with the opportunity for an education centered on good morals, high academic standards, and faith-filled values. Because of the generous tax credit contributions of both individual and corporate donors, CTSO has been able to award tuition scholarships to thousands of Catholic school students.
Catholic education has become affordable to more families through the Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) Program! Funded by the state of Arizona, ESA provides tuition support for qualifying children.
For more information about other School Tuition Organizations (STO), the scholarship managers in our schools will work with you directly to help make tuition affordable for your family.
