Joe Perdreauville has ministered in the Diocese of Tucson since 1997. He started as a counselor with the Tucson Ulster Project, and then was offered a job at St.Cyril’s Parish in midtown Tucson. Joe graduated from the University of Arizona in 1999 with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Religious Study. He was married at St. Pius X Parish to his beautiful wife Amy in 1999. During the summer of 1999, Joe started working at Corpus Christi Parish on Tucson’s far east side with pastor, Fr. Richard Kingsley. He spent 10 years developing their youth and children’s ministries. He was also involved in Diocesan efforts, most notably Junior High Fest which then morphed into YouthFEST in 2005. He graduated from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, a Lasallian Catholic University, with a Masters in Pastoral Administration in May 2009. Joe also is a charter member of the National Association of Catholic Youth Ministry Leaders, where he now serves as vice-chair. He has two awesome children, Chloe, 8, and Clayton, 5. He enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, and visiting the Caribbean Islands. CLOSE
The mission of the Office of Youth, Young Adult, and Family Ministry is to collaborate with parishes to promote effective ministry to youth, young adults, and families by providing resources and training for parish ministry leaders. The Office coordinates youth ministry leadership training for the adult leaders of youth programs, prepares the Diocesan-wide annual youth conference -- YOUTHfest, promotes workshops, program planning, sacramental preparation (Confirmation) and youth movements (such as Arcoiris), provides Catholic young adult ministry support and promotion through network events, flyers, and E-mails, and supports and promotes activities, workshops, and movements that support the families of our Diocese.
