Roman Catholic Diocese of Tucson -- Executive Assistant
The Diocese of Tucson is seeking applicants for the position of Executive Assistant. The individual selected must be familiar with the Roman Catholic Church and its teachings. The individual will be responsible for secretarial and administrative support for the Office of Pastoral Services. Applicants must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, be well organized, a team player, and be proficient with information technology, including word-processing and spreadsheet preparation. The ability to transcribe and a minimum keyboarding skill of 50 WPM are required. The individual must have a bachelor degree in business or public administration or a related field as well as a minimum of five years of experience in a high activity environment as an executive assistant, executive secretary, administrative assistant, or equivalent. Flexibility and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. Also required are knowledge of and/or experience with pastoral programs and events related to parish and/or diocesan leadership, religious education, and liturgical formation ministry. Diocese of Tucson -- Youth, Young Adult and Family Ministry Coordinator
The Diocese of Tucson is seeking applicants for the exempt position of Youth, Young Adult and Family Ministry Coordinator. Under the direction of the Diocesan Director of Pastoral Services, the coordinator is responsible for supporting the Diocese of Tucson in its mission to evangelize and catechize youth, young adults, and families by planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of youth and young adult ministries and of specific family ministries as directed. The coordinator will consult with and work collaboratively with the Pastoral Services Team to plan and implement specific services to support family life and to provide resources to all youth and young adult groups within the Diocese, particularly to Hispanic youth and young adults. Applicants must have excellent human relations and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and willing to work with other co-workers in ministry. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills including written, verbal, public speaking and presentation skills. Applicants must hold a master’s degree in either education, theology, pastoral ministry, religious education or a related field and must have a minimum of five years experience in youth ministry. The Diocese of Tucson is seeking applicants for the exempt position of Director of Stewardship and Development. Under the direction of the Bishop of the Diocese of Tucson and the Charity and Ministry Fund Executive Board, the director is responsible for working with the diocesan community to build and sustain a strong bond of support, including the development of resources and financial contributions to continue and enhance the mission of the Diocese of Tucson. The director organizes, directs, and coordinates the activity of the Office of Stewardship and Development and executes all work in accord with the stewardship philosophy and theology as expressed in the pastoral entitled "Stewardship, a Disciple's Response." The person selected will oversee, coordinate, and direct the Annual Catholic Appeal and other development and fundraising activities for the benefit of the Diocese.
