San Miguel High School, Tucson, AZ – Science Teacher
San Miguel High School is seeking applicants for the exempt, full–time position of Science Teacher. This teacher will have experience in captivating the scientific imagination of at–risk, urban students, a group traditionally left behind in science instruction. We are actively seeking someone who will focus on student achievement. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: stimulate scientific inquiry and engagement through project–based instruction, prepare lessons based on an annual plan, grade student work, and maintain/update grades, build and maintain positive relationships with students and instructional team, utilize effective research-based instruction and evaluation, and communicate effectively with students and families. The Diocese of Tucson is seeking applicants for a contract position to support and promote the mission of the Diocese of Tucson and its newspaper, the New Vision. The individual will work as an independent contractor to generate revenue through the sale of advertising and the servicing of accounts as assigned by the Director of Communications consistent with the Roman Catholic foundation of the newspaper. The individual will plan, develop, and execute methods for obtaining new accounts and will also be the liaison between advertisers and the producer of the ads. The Diocese of Tucson Bishop Moreno Pastoral Center is seeking volunteers for:

Clerical Assistance– Volunteers will work on a variety of clerical assignments as needed, such as typing, filing, computer input, and various other assignments, including assistance with various Church events and liturgies.  

Reception Assistance – Volunteers will work in the reception area handling telephone calls and mail processing, pickup, and distribution.
